Arsenal’s start to the season is now long in the memory, given how quickly and effectively Unai Emery has turned things around at the Emirates. After a couple of quickfire losses and a few poor performances at the start of the season, the new Arsenal manager has turned things around.
The Gunners have now won their last four games in the Premier League, which is a testament to the fine work that Emery is doing at the helm. Their latest win came over the weekend on Sunday against Everton. Arsenal dispatched of the Toffees fairly simply, with a 2-0 win the final result – thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazeette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Following the game, Arsenal fans will undoubtedly be pleased, but that isn’t stopping some fans from voicing their frustration at one particular performance.
Mesut Ozil has always been a divisive player, and his mixed form over the last year or so has taken that to the next level. He certainly wasn’t at his best against Everton, with the German playing slightly out of position on the flanks, and many Arsenal fans online have made their anger clear.
