Arsenal fans were bemoaning the injury crisis that is facing the club’s new head coach Mikel Arteta just hours into his reign.
After just being announced as the club’s new head coach on a three-and-a-half-year contract a matter of hours ago, it seems the Spaniard is already adding ‘injury crisis’ to his list of things to do.
The club announced that while Granit Xhaka has returned from the concussion he suffered against West Ham United, Sead Kolasinac is out until January with an ankle ligament injury (via Arsenal).
Prior to Kolasinac’s injury against Manchester City, Kieran Tierney had already been ruled out for up to three months after having surgery on a dislocated shoulder.
This means the club has no recognised left-back as they head to a rejuvenated Goodison Park to take on Everton.
Fans were bemoaning the news as they took to Twitter to react to the injury crisis facing Arteta on his first day as head coach.
