Arsenal: Fans celebrate Rob Holding’s birthday as defender turns 24

Arsenal fans are celebrating the birthday of centre-back Rob Holding, who turns 24-years-old today

The former Bolton Wanderers man has been at the club since the summer of 2016, signing for a mere £2m. He enjoyed instant success with the Gunners winning the FA Cup in 2017 as he started in the final against Premier League champions Chelsea (via BBC).

The centre-half has since gone on to make 60 appearances for the club, scoring just one goal (via Transfermarkt).

However, the Englishman has been out since December 2018 after suffering a serious knee injury in the 2-2 draw away to Manchester United.

His return to the first-team seems to be imminent after he was included in the club’s travelling party for their Europa League game away to Eintracht Frankfurt (via Arsenal).

Fans did their best to wish the Arsenal defender a happy birthday as they took to Twitter to tweet their messages.
