Lots of Arsenal fans are discussing a potential swap deal involving Lucas Torreira and AC Milan’s central midfield player Franck Kessie after transfer news emerged from MilanNews24.
The Italian outlet claim that the north London club have asked about Kessie, and Milan have come back and proposed an exchange of players, including Torreira.
As per the report, the 23-year old could be available for as little as 20 to 25 million euros, but the Italian giants are trying to turn the situation in their favour by proposing an exchange with the Gunners’ Uruguayan man, meaning that Kessie will not be allowed to leave so early.
Indeed, the £18m-valued ace has been an ever present figure in the Serie A this season, featuring in 23 games, scoring a goal and providing an assist, according to Transfermarkt.
Comparing the players in their respective domestic leagues this campaign, Torreira averages more interceptions, clearances and blocks, whilst Kessie wins more tackles (via Whoscored).
