The excitement levels have risen among Arsenal fans after the Gunners received an injury boost concerning Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin.
According to Goal’s Charles Watts, the defensive duo are set to return to full training in September.
Bellerin has been out since Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Chelsea back in January after suffering a knee injury that required surgery.
Meanwhile, Tierney has been out with a double hernia problem that he had surgery on after Celtic’s win over Hearts in the Scottish Cup final back in May.
The Scotland international made the move to North London on transfer deadline day for a fee believed to be £25m.
The return to injury comes after reports linking Nacho Monreal with an exit from the club to Spanish side Real Sociedad.
Fans couldn’t hide their happiness at the news about the two fullbacks, and took to Twitter to react.
