Arsenal fans have issued a rallying cry to Unai Emery regarding the Carabao Cup

Arsenal haven’t had much luck over the last few years, especially on the trophy front. Clearly a few steps behind their rivals in the English top flight, they’ve not been able make much of an impact in the Premier League, whilst their success elsewhere has been fairly minimal too.

They have, though, had a decent amount of success in the FA Cup. They’ve won it three times in the last five years, and that’s a decent tally, especially for a club that has otherwise struggled.

However, one competition that they’ve had decidedly less success in is the EFL Cup, or the Carabao Cup as it is now known. They made it to the final last season, but were easily swept aside by Man City, and now fans are hoping that will change this term.

It was confirmed on Thursday that Arsenal would be taking on Brentford in the next round of the cup, with the club taking to Twitter to promote the clash.

Arsenal supporters have been quick to respond, and it’s fair to say that they are eager for Unai Emery to have a decent run in the cup. They’re looking for a win in the next round, with many eager to go much further.
