Arsenal fans were left in utter disbelief after Jorginho escaped what seemed to be a second yellow card in the clash between the Gunners and Chelsea yesterday.
With Matteo Guendouzi having won the ball off the Italy international, the former Napoli man pulled the Frenchman back as he looked to stop a counter-attack (via BBC).
Pawson’s decision to not give the 27-year-old a second yellow saw angry reactions from the fans and players as Alexandre Lacazette was booked for his protests.
The Blues benefitted from the lack of a second yellow for the Brazil-born ace as he went on to score the equaliser following a cross from Mason Mount.
Jorginho had only come on in the 34th minute as an early substitute for defender Emerson Palmieri in a tactical change by Frank Lampard.
Fans were left in disbelief that he was not sent off as they took to Twitter to vent their frustration following the club’s fourth consecutive home defeat.

Jorginho should have been sent off, it was the easiest decision of the game for the referee. He booked Torreira just moments before for similar. He should be disciplined for being inconsistent for absolutely no reason only favouritism
