Arsenal fans have found themselves lauding Steve McClaren after the former England manager’s comments on what Mikel Arteta needs to achieve at the club.
McClaren, who was appearing on Sky Sports News (via AFCPW), said that he believes Arteta needs to change the side’s ‘attitude to defend’.

The former Newcastle United manager did, however, have some positives regarding the first-team as he lauded the forwards and said the side can play with the ball.
A deal for the 37-year-old would seem to be close to completion with ESPN pundit Julien Laurens saying he expects the deal to be completed in the ‘next few days’.
It would be the Spaniard’s first major coaching role with his only previous experience coming in the shape of his assistant manager position at Manchester City.
Fans were in agreement with the former Middlesbrough manager’s comments as they took to Twitter to react.
