Many Arsenal fans were in hysterics after comments Tony Pulis made about Serge Gnabry following the German’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur.

Pulis admitted on Sky Sports (picked up on by the Metro) that he was ‘amazed’ by the transformation of the winger, who received a 10/10 from French newspaper L’Equipe (via GiveMeSport) after his performance.
The Germany international returned to England, scoring four goals as Bayern Munich swept aside Tottenham Hotspur 7-2 in the Champions League last night (via BBC).
Gnabry was on a season-long loan at West Brom during the 2015-2016 season, but Pulis said that the German was not at the level required to play for the Baggies. He played just one game before being recalled by Arsenal in January 2016.
Arsenal fans couldn’t wait to poke fun at the Welshman for his comments on the 24-year-old back in 2015 as they took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from the fans of the north London club:

Yeah ….he wasn’t brawn enough for me. Don’t like the long balls and he loves to dribble a bit. He wasn’t my idea of football really.

@diwe_uche imagine this clown putting his inability to give Gnabry a chance on his being unfit . Such a clown. It’s obvious he’s embarrassed
