Alexandre Lacazette isn’t proving to be a popular figure among some Arsenal supporters and it’s easy to see why. It has been nine games across all competitions since the Frenchman last scored for the Gunners and the latest reports surrounding his future seems to have annoyed some fans.
According to The Mirror, the former Lyon striker ‘wants Champions League football’, with the forward entering the final two years of his contract at the end of the season. One fan said he had the quality of a Watford player despite the fact Troy Deeney has scored more goals than him across his last nine games.

As mentioned above, the France international is enduring one of his worst spells in front of goal for Gunners but he retains the support of head coach Mikel Arteta. The Spaniard heaped praise on the club’s number nine at the start of the year, lauding him for being able to ‘make his teammates better’ (via Bleacher Report). However, a lot of Arsenal fans weren’t too happy with the reports about the 28-year-old.
