Arsenal fans were lauding Jamie Vardy’s opening goal in Leicester City’s 2-0 win over the Gunners at the King Power Stadium yesterday.
The England international scored the opening goal after brilliant link-up play between Youri Tielemans and Harvey Barnes after which the Belgium international crossed for Vardy to tap-in (via BBC).

After his ninth goal in nine starts against the north London giants, Vardy rose back to the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts with 11 goals from 12 games.
Arsenal missed out on the chance to sign the Leicester striker after he turned them down when the Gunners seemingly had a deal wrapped up back in 2016 (via The Metro).
The result leaves Unai Emery’s side in sixth place, nine points behind the Foxes, who sit in the top four.
