Arsenal fans have been lauding Matteo Guendouzi after the midfielder won the September Player of the Month award for the club.

Guendouzi started every Premier League game in September as the Gunners racked up three draws and a solitary win over Aston Villa (via Transfermarkt).
The 20-year-old had a big impact in the win over the Villans for Unai Emery’s side, winning a penalty and assisting Calum Chambers for his equaliser. In the game against Tottenham Hotspur, Guendouzi also proved crucial, whipping in a cross for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to equalise from.
Out of the whole squad, the £40.5m-rated Guendouzi is one of just four players to have started every league game this season, showing his good performances (via WhoScored).
After a sterling month for the young midfielder, Arsenal fans were praising Guendouzi for winning the award as they took to Twitter to react.
