Arsenal fans on Twitter call for defensive reinforcements after Suarez confirmation

A lot of Arsenal fans have been looking forward today for a lot of reasons. Today saw the Gunners confirm the signing of Denis Suarez on-loan from Barcelona and the supporters are now desperate to bring in some defensive reinforcements. The club’s back line should be the priority and the fans cannot understand why it hasn’t been bolstered.

Sky Sports News have addressed the Arsenal fans brilliantly by putting out a flash poll asking them if they believe Denis Suarez is the player they need this window, and the fans response has been telling. The vast majority of them believe that their club are in desperate need of some new defenders seeing as they’ve been hit with plenty of injury problems and have been fragile at the back all season.

The Gunners have been linked with a number of players although the only one that has ever looked like materialising is the Suarez loan. That has now obviously gone through but the next step for the Arsenal fans is to bring in a new man at the back. However, with time running out and little news to work with, it looks like they’ll have to wait until the summer they finally bolster their back-line.
