Usually, when being linked to a 19-year-old Polish goalkeeper who’s plying his trade in his home country isn’t very exciting news whatsoever. However, given that the Gunners have Sven Mislintat to rely on to pull in the next young talent, this article from Onet claiming Radoslaw Majecki could be joining the club is an intriguing one.
From Poland: #AFC keen on Legia Warsaw GK Radosław Majecki (19yo) and see him as Petr Cech replacement. A deal could be agreed as soon as January and then he would be loaned back to Warsaw till the end of the season – Full story.https://t.co/Mh8EyxLzDa

Having seen both Wojeich Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski play big roles at the club in recent years, the Gunners are quite excited about the prospect of having the next big young Polish goalkeeper at their club. The unheard of prospect is currently at Legia Warsaw and at the age of just 19, he’s already shining through as one of the brightest young prospects between the sticks in Poland.
It’s all well and good getting excited by this supposed Mislintat find, but the thing that’s frustrating for the Gunners is that they’re in no need of a goalkeeper. They’d much rather their top scout was out searching for the next best young defender or winger, areas that would be of huge significance to the fans if they landed someone in that position.

The Gunners em keen on this one, and will hope it can be another Mislintat masterclass if it does come off.
