Arsenal fans were rating midfielder Matteo Guendouzi out of 10 after his contribution to Arsenal’s 3-2 comeback victory over Aston Villa yesterday.
The £40.5m-rated Frenchman proved a key figure in the win against the newly-promoted side, winning a penalty and playing a delightful cross into the box before Calum Chambers slotted home the second (via BBC).
The France youth international has been in supreme form this season, recording the highest average pass success percentage of any player to have played all six Premier League games for Unai Emery’s side (via WhoScored).
His performances this season saw him earn a call-up to the France senior international squad in place of the injured Paul Pogba in the September international break.
Arsenal fans are taking to their young central midfielder as they took to Twitter to grade his performance against Aston Villa yesterday.
