Arsenal fans have been raving over Calum Chambers after the club’s official Twitter account highlighted his performances for the side over the last three games.
The Englishman has been in superb form for Arsenal this season and contributed a hat-trick of assists as the Gunners swept aside Nottingham Forest 5-0 in the third round of the Carabao Cup (via Twitter).
The game against Forest followed his equalising goal against Aston Villa in a 3-2 win and a clean sheet away to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League last week.
Chambers’ defensive contribution shouldn’t be overlooked either, with the defender conceding just one goal in 314 minutes of football this season (via Transfermarkt).
The £12.6m-rated man was signed from Southampton for a fee believed to be £16m in the summer of 2014.
Fans were more than complimentary of the former Southampton man after what has been a superb week for him, taking to Twitter to react.
