Arsenal fans were bigging up Matteo Guendouzi after the midfielder’s performance in the 2-2 draw at home to rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The youngster got an assist for the equaliser as Unai Emery’s side came from 2-0 down to draw with their Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
The France under-21 international played a sublime ball over the top of the Spurs defence for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to poke home midway through the second half.
Guendouzi has been an almost ever-present in the Arsenal side this season, starting and finishing three of the four Premier League games (via Transfermarkt).
The Frenchman has the second-highest pass completion rate and made the most interceptions of players in the Arsenal squad to have played in all four games (via WhoScored).
Fans were raving over the youngster’s ability after his performance on Sunday and one supporter even likened him to Arsenal legend Ray Parlour, who made 430 appearances for the Gunners.
