Arsenal: Fans reminisce over Nacho Monreal after Twitter post

Arsenal fans have been reminiscing over Nacho Monreal after a fan posted a tweet about the Spaniard.

One fan on Twitter remembered the veteran fullback as he alluded to his consistent performances on the pitch, saying he always guaranteed a seven or above out of 10 every week.

Monreal left the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window as he completed a move to Real Sociedad on a two-year deal for a reported £225,000 (via Telegraph).

Following his move back to his home country, reports emerged saying manager Unai Emery lost a battle to keep the player for the north London derby back in August (via The Athletic).

The former Spainish international enjoyed a brilliant time at the north London giants, making 251 appearances in six-and-a-half years. Indeed, his time at the club also proved quite successful, with Monreal winning three FA Cups (via Transfermarkt).
