Arsenal fans were reminiscing over a record-breaking moment for club legend Thierry Henry 14 years ago today.

On this day in 2005, the former France international scored a brace as he became the club’s record goalscorer, overtaking Ian Wright’s record of 185 goals (via Soccerbase).
Henry ended up scoring 228 goals for the club in a career in north London that spanned two spells and more than eight years.
The forward won a plethora of trophies with the north London giants, including two Premier League titles and three FA Cups (via Transfermarkt).
One of his league titles came with the famous Invincibles team, as Arsene Wenger’s side managed to go through an entire season without losing a game.
Henry was memorialised outside the Emirates Stadium when the club built a statue of his famous celebration against Tottenham Hotspur (via Guardian).
