Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been put through the mill again today but they have at least earned some solace as it has worn on.
Indeed, since the weekend’s loss to Liverpool and the dropping of Alexis Sanchez there’s been plenty of speculation surrounding the Chilean.
The likes of The Guardian have claimed that the starting of the former Barcelona man on the bench was down to a huge bust-up between him and Arsene Wenger, naturally causing many Gunners here by the bar to be worried.
It appears now, though, they can relax a little and breathe a bit easier with the player himself moving to try and show his support for the club.
Via his official Instagram account he posted:
Evidently, then, he is saying that he is purely fighting for the club and their fortunes at the moment, something arguably the rest of the squad could do with doing too.
