Arsenal: Fans still regret allowing Aaron Ramsey to leave

Ramsey

He only left the club in the summer but many Arsenal fans already regret the club allowing Aaron Ramsey to move on from the Emirates.

The Welshman ended his 11-year stay in North London when his contract expired a few months ago, opting to move to Serie A giants Juventus.

Ramsey was a key player for Arsenal, playing a total of 371 times for the Gunners, scoring 65 goals and providing 65 assists in that time (via Transfermarkt).

Losing him on a free transfer was a big blow given how important he was, and how much he would have been worth had they had the foresight to tie him down to a new contract.

Since moving on he has made a decent start to life in Turin, making four appearances and already scoring his first goal for the club.

Ramsey is very much an attacking-minded midfield player, as you can tell by his stats. He has been replaced by Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos this season, but that hasn’t stopped some Arsenal fans expressing that they wish they hadn’t lost the Wales international.

A Gunners fan account posted a tweet recently asking fans which player they most regret Arsenal letting leave, and quite a few of them said Ramsey…

Too many.
Latest one would be Ramsey though.

If we don’t get top 4 or win the EL, Emery has a lot to answer as of why he let Ramsey go and his disgraceful treatment of Özil.
