To hear the news that another English youngster is set for a move to the Bundesliga is far from surprising given the recent trend of youngsters making that move. This particular one also concerns an Arsenal man, as Emile Smith-Rowe looks set to join Reiss Nelson out in the Bundesliga, with RB Leipzig wanting him, according to The Independent.

The Gunners have a lot of quality players in their squad at the moment, so it’s hard to see how a young player like Emile Smith-Rowe will get the game time he needs whilst he’s at The Emirates. However, at the same time, there’s no way the Arsenal fans would be happy with letting him leave on a permanent deal, making a loan move until the end of the season the most likely.
The likes of Reiss Nelson, Jadon Sancho, Ademola Lookman and Reece Oxford have all shone out in Germany, and now Smith-Rowe looks to be the latest player from England to be making that step. At the age of just 18, Smith-Rowe has so much room for development and if he’s given the chance to play in a different environment like the Bundesliga it can only do him well as he looks to fulfil his potential.
