Arsenal fans have been waiting to see their latest injury news as they prepare to host Bournemouth in the Premier League, and yesterday they were delighted to see their fitness update. One of the key updates was that of Alex Iwobi, and rather disgustingly, the Gunners have been delighted to see that Nigerian is carrying a knock.
An update from our medical team ahead of #ARSBOU…

Now love him or hate him, for fans of the club to be replying to Arsenal’s injury update with celebratory tweets after learning of Iwobi’s blow is awful. The academy star who progressed through the Gunners’ ranks to take his spot in the senior side would be celebrated at most clubs, but instead has found himself unlucky enough to end up at Arsenal, where the toxic supporters tear down their own.
Fortunately, Iwobi’s injury is only a knock to his right ankle and isn’t too severe. The Nigerian could be set to face Bournemouth tonight but will need to be assessed ahead of kick-off. Hopefully, the skilful winger can pass a late fitness test, put in a quality display against the Cherries and show all of the hateful, cancerous supporters hoping his injury is a severe one what he really can do later tonight.

These awful few Arsenal fans are delighted that Iwobi is out, and it will be a wonderful site if he can start and shine in tonight’s midweek clash.
