Arsenal: Fans want Massimiliano Allegri to replace Unai Emery as manager

Arsenal fans want former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri to replace under-fire boss Unai Emery as manager of the club.

The request comes after a report from Football Italia, who are reporting that the Italian manager is among the favourites for Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham jobs.

After five years in Turin, Allegri left his position at Juventus at the end of last season. The 52-year-old was hugely successful with the Serie A side, winning 11 trophies during his tenure (via Transfermarkt).

Despite defeat both times, the Italian man also reached two Champions League finals in three years, facing Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Unai Emery has been under mass pressure from the north London faithful after some poor performances (via I News). Emery’s side drew 2-2 draw away to Watford, a game which the Gunners threw away a two-goal lead (via BBC).

Fans were begging for the club to hire Allegri as they took to Twitter to tweet.

100% agree mate,would love Nagelsmann as well but would be hard to attract him when he’s only started at Leipzig.But Allegri is a sound option
