Arsenal fans want to see more biog moments from Shkodran Mustafi

Usually, when Shkodran Mustafi performs for Arsenal the fans are quick to gloss it over and don’t give him the full praise that he deserves. The German has had more howlers than he has big moments for The Gunners, although on this day last year he opened the scoring against Tottenham in the North London derby with a huge header, and the fans want to see more of that Mustafi.

Mustafi is a superb centre-back when he’s on form. However, more often than not he fails to find that top form and he finds himself getting slated for making silly errors both in and out of possession. It’s happened more than once where he’s found himself ball-watching as an attacker would ghost in and punishes The Gunners, although this time last year we saw none of that as the German put in a superb display to down The Lilywhites.

It’s now winter again and with another home clash in the North London derby, Arsenal fans everywhere will be hoping that their 26-year-old defender can find that inspired form from last year and close the gap on their North London rivals, who currently sit three points ahead of them and have a tough run of games against Chelsea and Inter Milan before the derby.
