Arsenal fans gave their reactions after the club drew Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie sees the return of former Gunner and boyhood Arsenal fan Carl Jenkinson, who only left the club this summer to join the Reds. Jenkinson moved to the City Ground for a fee believed to be £2m on a three-year contract.
The Englishman made just 70 appearances in more than seven years at the club, which featured numerous loan spells at clubs including West Ham United and Birmingham City (via Transfermarkt).
The North London giants have a recent history with the East Midlands side, losing to them 4-2 in the third round of the FA Cup back in January 2018.
Fans commented on Jenkinson’s swift return to North London, with some fans getting the feeling the club can’t seem to get rid of him.
Here is a selection of tweets from the North London faithful after the draw:
He couldn’t stay away for long… Could he???
