The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are not looking forward to their side’s clash with Chelsea this weekend…
Two sides with very different seasons to reflect upon, there is no doubting which side will be favoured heading into the game.
However, in the lead-up to the fixture, Arsenal have been handed a significant injury boost – with Ben Dinnery confirming on Twitter that both Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should be fit to feature in the game, with the latter recently returning to full training.

The return of Alexis Sanchez, in particular, is massive for the Gunners, with his influence undoubtedly bettering Arsenal’s chance of victory against Chelsea. The Chilean has been in fine form all season long, and whilst Chelsea may dominate the game, you can always rely on him to come through with a bit of magic to secure an unlikely win.
Whilst Oxlade-Chamberlain is not confirmed to be fit, the fact that he is in full training may suggest that he will be involved in some way. Certainly, even a semi-fit Ox would be important for the Gunners – with his catalytic presence in the heart of the midfield often just what Arsenal need to steal a goal.
Our landlord is expecting a great game.
