Paulo Dybala is a bit of an unknown quantity here in the Football Transfer Tavern and it seems Metro are doing their best to introduce us to the forward and that is probably a good thing given Arsenal are trying to land him.
The Gunners are reportedly desperate to land the Palermo forward who is valued at around £21.3 million and Arsene Wenger has instructed his board to work around the clock to make the deal happen.
There is no denying the forward is a popular man, with both Manchester United and Chelsea also keeping tabs on him but as one of our punters notes, the Gunners already have a couple of forwards who are decent and can do a job – but never really set the world alight and that is what they want to see this summer.
We don’t think it is in Wenger’s nature to go all out and splash tens of millions on world class names but with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez now at the club, at least the fans know they can attract the big names if their manager is willing to pay for them.
