Upon their travels back from Paris, the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been venting their frustration.
Seemingly unable to break out of the glass ceiling that seems to cap the Gunners’ ambitions, the North London locals believe they’ve been through this all before.
They have lamented some of the club’s players for so long due to a failure to progress over recent seasons, one of those being Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The England international has shown promise in flashes, though has often flattered to deceive.
Now, according to Bleacher Report, the 23-year-old is facing a fight to convince the club he is worth further investment.
Currently out of contract until 2018, no contact regarding an extension is thought to have been made as of yet.

He is facing a fight for his future in North London, five years after joining from Southampton as a youngster.
Though he is currently involved on first-team duty, ‘the Ox’ has it all to prove in a pivotal few seasons for the midfielder.
