Arsenal and Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are dreaming about signing Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca, with Metro reporting that both London clubs are vying for his signature.
Bacca, 28, has been an impressive figure for the La Liga outfit and has a good goal-scoring record at the club, having scored 28 goals in 59 appearances for Sevilla.
Tottenham scouts were reportedly watching the Columbian striker in action against Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach, in the Europa League last Thursday.
A pocket of Spurs fans by the dartboard in the Transfer Tavern believe that the addition of a new striker is a top priority in the summer transfer window, and see Bacca as an adequate addition to the club.
Bacca would relieve some of the pressure and burden that has been put on Harry Kane’s shoulders, and could help aid the club to a top four finish next season.
Meanwhile, a number of Gunners fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are arguing that the former Club Brugge striker is too old, and believe a move for a younger striker would be more beneficial.
