Metro have some news that is so good, it has Arsenal fans moving over from the beer garden here in the Football Transfer Tavern to the bar.
The publication seem to think that the Gunners are about to beat north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to Espanyol defender Hector Moreno, and that the La Liga star is willing to do just about anything to make the move happen.
Moreno is rated at around £15 million and as one of our punters rightly notes, that is just about in the Arsene Wenger bargain bucket price range, and we think the Gunners will try their best to land Moreno – before they miss out when he opts for a better club!
