Unai Emery has made it through the international break without being sacked, and now he’s got three very winnable fixtures to turn his team’s fortunes around. They play 19th-placed Southampton at home on Saturday followed by rock-bottom Norwich and mid-table Brighton, but they’ll be without Dani Ceballos and perhaps Sead Kolasinac for this weekend, at least.
The club released an injury update on them both, which said Ceballos is still expected to return around mid-December but Kolasinac’s hamstring injury is being assessed ahead of Saturday’s game. However, that wasn’t what most Arsenal fans wanted to focus on, with many not interested by the update at all.
Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted a link to the injury news, but most of the replies were filled with fans moaning about their manager. It seems the international break hasn’t settled down the social media section of the fanbase as the club may have hoped.
