Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are in an excellent mood after a superb win against Bayern Munich and the latest comments from one of their key-players has left them beaming like a Cheshire cat.
20-year-old Hector Bellerin has excelled for Arsenal since deputising for the injured Mathieu Debuchy last season and has been a first-team regular since, standing-out in the latter stages of Arsenal’s Champions League win last night.
However, Arsenal fans have long been concerned that the former Barcelona youth may be tempted by a move back to Catalonia, like Cesc Fabregas many moons ago, but the Spaniard ruled-out the chances of that happening when speaking to Marca:
“I came to Arsenal to stay here. I’m not thinking about going back.”
Arsenal supporters will be relieved by the player’s comments, after his performances suggested they may have found themselves a glorious diamond amongst their ranks.
Arsenal fans, how good can Hector Bellerin become? Let us know in the comments below!
