The Daily Mail have managed to get Arsenal fans looking up with interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that Hector Bellerin is set to land a new deal.
The defender has impressed Arsene Wenger this season and will now secure himself a pretty nice new contract to remain at the north London club with Wenger ready to convince his board that extending the stay of the 19-year-old is the best thing to do.
Not only will that see Bellerin remain at the club past his current contract which expires in 2017, it will also see him net a pretty penny with improved terms set to be offered given his performances and rise to the first team this season.
The right back has now made 17 appearances for the first team this term and we think that his future is certainly bright – and the new deal will at least give both the player and the Gunners peace of mind going forward.
