Wojciech Szczesny is not one of our favourite players here in the Football Transfer Tavern and after The Times‘ latest comments, we think that the Polish goalkeeper could be on his way out of Arsenal.
As we know, the keeper has been walking a fine line for a while at the club now and given Arsene Wenger has been casting around for a new number one, Szczesny should be on his best behaviour, not smoking in the shower, which despite apologising for, could well still be dropped.
Now Wenger has made a strong stance and claimed that any player who is caught smoking this season will be sent to train with the youth side for the remainder of the campaign.
One of our resident Tottenham fans quips that Jack Wilshere could well be in big trouble if he is not on his best behaviour for the rest of the season!
That aside, Gunners fans by the bar would still make a move for Petr Cech come the summer given the Chelsea keeper is heads and shoulders above anything Arsenal currently boast at their disposal.
