The Football Transfer Tavern has been left disappointed with the latest speculation arriving at the bar.
The Express report that Arsenal have been dealt a transfer blow after it was revealed that Wolfsburg starlet Maximilian Arnold is happy at his current club and has no plans to leave Germany in the near future.
The news comes from the youngster’s agent who insists that his client is committed to Wolfsburg for the long-term.
The Gunners have been linked with 19-year-old German Under-21 international in the last few days in the tavern, with Arsene Wenger impressed with the attackers progression in the Bundesliga.
Arnold has already found the net six goals in his 14 games for the German side this term, and that has reportedly brought about keen interest from the Premier League with Arsenal heading the chasing pack.
However these rumours have been dismissed by his agent, Karl Herzog, who says that Arnold won’t leaving Wolfsburg anytime soon.
He said: “Max is with Wolfsburg and he is doing fine.”
“He definitely enjoys all the qualities of the club and they know all of his qualities.”
Claims that he has a release clause in his contract have also been denied by Wolfsburg.
The youngster is highly-rated in the native country and it won’t be long before he makes his senior debut.
