Arsenal fans are eager to hear what the Daily Mail has to say here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that the Gunners are waiting for the nod from Chelsea over Petr Cech.
The goalkeeper has made it very clear that he will be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer after failing to show he should be number one and displace Thibaut Courtois – but as one of our punters notes, Cech is a world class player and we think that he could make Arsenal into genuine title contenders.
There is no doubt in our minds that Cech would be ideal for Arsene Wenger and while Chelsea are willing to allow him to leave as the summer approaches, we are unsure if they should help out one of their rivals so much.
