Arsenal want the PL title: These 2 January signings can make it happen

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are beginning to get very excited for the new year…

Not only will 2017 likely bring Arsenal’s most significant title challenge in years – but it could also bring more than a few new faces to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger realises that this could be his best shot at championship glory in years, and he has never been a boss to waste his chances..

January brings with it the opportunity for Arsenal to invest in their squad, and with title glory on the line – Wenger must undoubtedly be thinking about who could be the difference maker for the Gunners.

The Arsenal fans in the Tavern have suggested that their entire first team could do with a bit of additional depth, so Wenger’s list will undoubtedly be a long one.

That being said, if Arsenal want the Premier League a league title – these 2 January signings could definitely go a long way to making that happen…

 Julian Draxler

Julian Draxler is, undoubtedly, one of Europe’s finest wingers – and Arsene Wenger would be wise to look towards him.

Despite his tender years, he has already won a plethora of awards – most notably the World Cup with his native Germany. He has built on his experiences over the last few years and is quickly turning into a fine player.

He has been left out of Wolfsburg’s match day squads lately, and his departure in January looks likely.

The German will definitely be in-demand, but with Arsenal reliant on Ozil and Sanchez at present – Draxler would present a welcome alternative for Wenger.

Riechedly Bazoer

Riechedly Bazoer is a player that you might not think would come in and make an immediate impact, but Arsene Wenger has a proven track record in signing young players – and he might just be the best yet.

A natural central midfielder, Bazoer is different to anything that Arsenal currently have available.

He is technical, he is strong, he is quick, he is mobile – in truth, he really is an all-round midfielder.

Able to play in defensive midfield or attacking midfield, Bazoer’s versatility is a trait that shines through, and is something that Wenger might be keen on.

With Xhaka looking unstable at present, Bazoer could be a great option for the present and the future.
