It seems like every year, the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are reading the same rumours and reports in regards to their summer transfer activity.
Much like their almost annual crumbling in the title race then.
Still, names such as Gonzalo Higuain and Julian Draxler appear to be mooted year after year, to little avail as Arsene Wenger decides to stick with what he’s got.
However, could the next few months put an end to that?
According to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianell, the Gunners chief is willing to splash a stunning £50m to land the latter.

Draxler, a World Cup winning forward, is thought to want to leave Wolfsburg just a year after joining, though Die Wölfe are not believed to be in any rush to sell the 22-year old.
The Italian claims the North London giants are happy to BREAK their transfer-record in order to lure him to the Emirates, currently set at £42.5m for compatriot Mesut Ozil in 2013.
Would Draxler really be worth £50m?! Would the money be better spent elsewhere? Let us know below….
