As reported by The Mirror, Aston Villa have slapped an £80m price tag on midfielder Jack Grealish, prompting fans to respond to a potential exit for the club’s captain.
The future of 24-year-old Grealish has been much debated via social media over the last few weeks after transfer links to Villa’s Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton emerged.
United, who are intent on bringing in some fresh faces this summer, are keen on the former England under-21 international, having seen him enjoy arguably his best season in a claret and blue shirt. Scoring an impressive seven goals and gaining six assists in England’s top flight, Everton have also emerged as admirers of the midfielder.
Villa, who sit 19th in the Premier League table as things stand, will hope to preserve their top-flight status and hold on to Grealish. In a bid to do so, The Mirror have now claimed that Villa owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens will not sell the midfielder for less than £80m.

Even if we do stay up . If we sell him – no matter what the price . I’d bank on us going down next season. No matter how much £££ you get in, it doesn’t work- Like when we sold benteke . If we stay up they should offer him a new and improved contract if the board mean business .
