Many Aston Villa fans have debated the impact of midfielder Conor Hourihane this season in the Premier League.
Republic of Ireland international Hourihane joined Villa in January 2017 and featured regularly during their stint in the Championship, but playing time this season has somewhat become less and less.
Starting just 39% of Villa’s Premier League games, the former Barnsley man has chipped in with three goals and two assists, but the likes of Jack Grealish and Marvelous Nakamba have been preferred.
Dean Smith’s side find themselves currently sitting 19th in England’s top flight, nervously waiting a decision on the outcome of the 2019/2020 season.

With the Claret and Blue side looking to beat off relegation and continue in the Premier League through to next season, Hourihane’s impact has now been discussed amongst fans of the club via social media.
The 29-year-old has been much the subject of conversation of late amongst fans of the club, having given his thoughts on the future of teammate Grealish, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
