Several Aston Villa fans have debated who they think has been the club’s most improved player under manager Dean Smith.
Villa fans have not had much to shout about this season, despite reaching the League Cup final where they lost out to Manchester City at Wembley.
Sitting 19th in the Premier League table as things stand, the Claret and Blue faithful will be hoping their side can bounce back when and if football returns for the conclusion of the 2019/2020 season.
Manager Smith, who is a well known Villa supporter, guided the club to a successful promotion via the play-off final last season, and fans will be hoping he can keep the 1982 European Cup winners in England’s top flight through to next term.
Looking into Smith’s time in charge, a number of players have impressed, including Jack Grealish, who is club captain this season and has netted an impressive seven goals and gained six assists in the league.
Whilst Grealish has impressed, defender Tyrone Mings has also found his feet, impressing enough to gain a chance in the England national side, making his first appearance for Gareth Southgate’s side last year.
Reacting to a tweet from @Villatil1Die, fans discussed the likes of Grealish and Mings as they debated who Smith’s most improved player was…
