Aston Villa were far from their best against Southampton on Sunday, and Matty Cash struggled in particular against the Saints.

Villa started the season in fantastic form, winning their first four games in the Premier League in a row. However, they lost 3-0 against Leeds United, and they were then beaten 4-3 by Southampton. In fact, the south-coast side even went 4-0 up, although Villa did manage to stage some sort of a comeback.
Cash struggled. His handball – for which he was lucky not to see a red card – gave James Ward-Prowse the chance to score his second free-kick of the game, and he won just three of his seven duels.

Signed from Nottingham Forest for £16m during the summer, the fans were far from happy with his display and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
