Several Aston Villa fans have been left in awe of Trezeguet, lauding the attacker for his effort and overall contribution.
He earned specific praise for his performance in Villa’s latest outing against Watford as he continues to adapt to life in English football. And so far, you would have to say things are going fairly well for him.
Trezeguet has scored three goals and provided one assist in the Premier League, with two of those strikes coming against real heavyweights in Liverpool and Chelsea. According to WhoScored, he is also making 1.2 dribbles per game, with only Jack Grealish and John McGinn averaging more (both 2.3).
Of course, as an attacker, more goals and assists would be nice. But given that this is his first season in English football’s top flight and Villa’s current position in the table, things could be going a lot worse.
Whatever the case, these Villa fans are pleased with the Egypt international’s contribution so far…
