Aston Villa’s Twitter account was met with a host of negative responses from fans yesterday when it sent out a couple of tweets regarding Dean Smith’s pre-match press conference.
The Midlands club take on Norwich City on Boxing Day so, as is routine, the 48-year-old held a presser with the media.
Ahead of it, the club tweeted where supporters could go to watch it, while they also shared a segment of the press conference once it had been conducted. However, taking a look under both posts, it is quite clear that some supporters are not happy with Smith right now and are not really interested in listening to anything he has to say.
Currently in the relegation zone, it is hardly surprising that the Villa Park faithful are not happy and are looking for someone to blame. Unfortunately for Smith, that someone seems to be him.
Take a look at what they have been saying below…
We can all guess what he's going to https://t.co/AIwIYJ7x0I need to watch

This is embarrassing, relegation, acting like we are comfortable mid table side showing this, over 100mill spent, Dean should be sacked, I put club before manager, not manager before club, fact.
