Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a latest transfer report linking Conor Hourihane with a summer move.
The 29-year-old midfielder arrived at Villa Park in 2017 and played an important part in the Midlands club’s promotion to the Premier League in the 2018/2019 season.
Proving a key member of Dean Smith’s squad, Hourihane also helped Villa remain in England’s top flight last season, appearing in 27 Premier League games in which he scored 3 goals and gained 5 assists.

With the summer transfer window now in full flow, a report has emerged claiming that the midfielder’s agent has offered his services elsewhere.
The Republic of Ireland international has one-year left on his contract with the Claret and Blue outfit and is valued at £5.4 million by Transfermarkt.
Reacting to the transfer claim, fans of Villa responded via Twitter account Aston Villa News and below are just some of the tweets received on the matter. The majority seem to believe there is no way he will leave given how important he proved to be last term, with one even labelling him “one of the stand out players” towards the end of 19/20 for the Villans.
Those good old trusted Turkish news reports. Behave!!!! If we’d have believed them, we’d have nobody left. He isn’t going anywhere.

Can’t see him going to be honest, big part of the team last season and good in the dressing room.
