Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a transfer report linking Norwich City youngster Max Aarons with a move to the club.
With the Claret and Blue outfit managing to preserve their top-flight status at the end of the 2019/20 season, manager Dean Smith can now look ahead to bolstering his squad ahead of next term.
One player who has been linked with a move to Villa Park is £18m-rated Aarons, who was part of the Norwich side that finished bottom of the Premier League. The 20-year-old full-back made 36 appearances in England’s top flight last term, contributing with two assists.
With his current contract at Carrow Road lasting until the summer of 2024, Aarons’ potential summer exit from Norwich is expected to hand the Championship club a transfer fee around his valued amount.
The Telegraph’s Matt Law reported of Villa’s interest whilst also claiming that Liverpool are keen to make a move for Aarons’ defensive team-mate Jamal Lewis.
