Many Aston Villa fans have reacted the summer signing of former Exeter City youngster Ben Chrisene.
Villa boss Dean Smith will be keen to add depth to his squad this summer as he prepares for a second successive season in the Premier League.
Beating off the threat of relegation with a final day draw against West Ham United, Smith will now be busy preparing for the new season.
And, a number of improvements beneath the first team at academy level have developed, seeing a number of talented players arrive at Villa Park, including former West Bromwich Albion and Barcelona attacker Louie Barry.
Barry has now been followed by talented England under-16 international Chrisene, who has already made a total of five first team appearances for Exeter City, all as a substitute, becoming the club’s youngest ever player, beating a record set by Ethan Ampadu.
Reacting to the youngster’s arrival at Villa Park, fans gave a response via Twitter account @villareport with one even suggesting that the “2024/25 Prem is ours” referencing the fact that they are signings talented youngsters at present.
To have already been exposed to first-team League Two level football at such a very young age is a great sign!
