Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to Callum O’Hare’s move to newly promoted Championship side Coventry City.
The Bodymoor Heath academy graduate saw his contract with the Premier League club come to an end on June 30, prompting speculation linking him with a move to the Sky Blues.
O’Hare spent the last 12 months on loan with the League One champions, making a solid impression where he netted four goals and provided seven assists in the process.
The midfielder became Mark Robins’ third signing after bringing in Gustavo Hamer from PEC Zwolle and Julien Dacosta from Chamois Niortais.
After knocking back several contract offers from Villa, fans of the Claret and Blue side have now given their opinion on the midfielder’s exit after 15 years at the club.
Reacting to O’Hare’s move to Coventry, fans gave their opinion on the youngster’s Villa exit, with some suggesting it is a good move as he ‘wasn’t good enough’ for Villa. Indeed despite being at the club so long, he never really broke through into the first team and only managed nine appearances in total (Transfermarkt).
Wasnt good enough plus we have better players who are younger

He’s been good in League One, maybe he will prove good in the Championship, was he ready for Premier League, at the moment I would have to say no.
The move suits him at this particular time so good luck to him but I feel his move also suited Villa. UTV— The Fabled Sage 🔥 (@FabledSage) July 15, 2020
