Lots of Aston Villa fans were not pleased with manager Dean Smith after his side fell to a 4-3 defeat to Southampton on Sunday.
Following the match, the club tweeted out a video of the manager’s post-game comments. They supported the video with one of his comments. He said:”The way we finished the game was really good and we need to take that into next week at Arsenal.”
The result and the performance would not have been what a lot of fans would have wanted, especially in the first half as they were losing 3-0 following two free-kick goals from James Ward-Prowse and a goal from Jannik Vestergaard.
Villa have now lost their last two matches, and with Arsenal to play next, Smith has to get his tactics right to have a chance of picking up any points. Despite the past two results, the club still sit sixth in the league as it currently stands.

Fair enough assessment. Defensively poor for the first but then done by 3 great finishes. Showed character to come back. Need to see more of McGinn sitting alongside Luiz as he did second half, and Barkley pushed forward, as that is when we have looked our best this season.
